The best place to stay in Arusha by a long way, this recently constructed lodge is located about 10km to the East of Arusha, tucked away between the gently rolling hills of an old coffee plantation, against the backdrop of Mount Meru.

Set on the slopes of Mount Meru on the edge of the National Park, Ngare Sero is a fine old German farmhouse, set in some of the most beautiful landscaped gardens in East Africa. On arrival you enter a stone gateway and traverse a footbridge across a beautiful lake, before climbing a stairway of flowers up the farmhouse.
The building itself is very alpine in design and to sit in on the verandah and watch the colobus monkeys in the trees is fabulous. ...[more]
